My view from Seattle: theatre, life, soul and stuff.

I'm Scott Nolte, producing artistic director of Taproot Theatre Company, and a second generation, native born Seattleite married to an actress who's also a co-founder of TTC. We have two kids: a daughter in college, and a son who's an actor touring the country with an educational theatre. As a co-founder of TTC and its producing artistic director, I'm fortunate to have opportunities to observe and participate in the efforts of my TTC staff and artists, other theatres and arts organizations, churches and friends to make this a better world. My daughter, Lisa, and I consider ourselves honorary Italians even though the genes say Norweigan, German, British and even Native American. The sunny climes of the Mediterranean beckon...but Seattle is fine for now!
